Founded by Georgie Pridden in 2019, the Pop-Up of the North brings together independent brands from across the UK.

An opportunity for makers to showcase their work, in the flesh, to a new audience. Online shopping has its advantages but nothing beats meeting the maker.

This inspiring shopping event includes art, interiors, homeware, fashion and food.

'It was great to visit the Pop-Up of the North and have my work displayed there. The show is full of work by exciting independent designers and makers, displayed in a setting full of character. I am looking forward to the next one in September'. Mark Hearld, artist.

'The Pop-Up of the North is a curated event bringing a lovely selection of brands together in an organic way. Georgie's passion flows through each event bringing contacts together with superb organisation'. Roddy Clarke, freelance journalist.

'It was a complete joy to be part of the Pop-Up of the North in the delightful town of Malton in Yorkshire . Georgie organised it like a dream and the space at York House was shabby chic at its best. It was so nice to meet other independent makers from around the UK and also some lovely new customers. I think the idea of a curated pop-up is the way forward for an enjoyable shopping experience and a unique edit. Georgie is a consummate professional with great curatorial skills and huge enthusiasm. It is definitely worth a day out to attend her pop-up'. Susi Bellamy, exhibitor at Pop-Up of the North, June 2019
